This Return & Refund Policy explains how iBazar handles returns, refunds, and credits for grocery and prepared food orders placed through iBazar.

1. General Rule (Food & Grocery)

Because groceries and prepared food are time-sensitive, returns and refunds are limited and evaluated case-by-case. Food safety rules may restrict returns for certain items.


2. Eligible Refund Situations

You may be eligible for a refund or credit if:

  • items are missing

  • items are damaged, spoiled, or expired at delivery

  • wrong items were delivered


3. Reporting Deadline (Strict)

All issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

We may request:

  • photos

  • item details

  • packaging labels

  • a short description of the problem

Failure to report within 24 hours may result in denial of the request.


4. Return Requirements (Customer Drop-Off)

iBazar does not pick up items for returns.

If a return is required:

  • the customer must bring the item back

  • the return must be completed within 24 hours

  • the item condition must be consistent with the reported issue


5. Return Handling / Restocking Costs

In certain cases—especially when the issue is caused by customer mistakes (such as ordering incorrectly) or when a return is requested not due to damage/spoilage—iBazar may apply a reasonable return handling cost to cover logistics and processing.

We will communicate clearly if any such cost applies before finalizing the resolution.


6. Refund Method

Approved refunds may be issued as:

  • refund to the original payment method, or

  • iBazar credit (when appropriate)

The method may depend on the issue type, Partner rules, and operational requirements.


7. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • approved substitutions

  • taste/personal preference

  • incorrect address or customer unavailability

  • delays outside iBazar’s control (traffic, weather, Partner delays)

  • items not reported within the 24-hour window


8. Restaurant Orders

Prepared restaurant food is generally non-returnable due to food safety rules. Refunds (if any) are limited to clear mistakes such as:

  • missing items

  • incorrect items

  • severely compromised items


9. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use means you accept the updated version.
